Paragon Financial Advisors is a wealth management firm in College Station, and these two 30-second spots, made for local broadcast and Paragon’s radio show, put one of its advisors front and center: Stephen McGee, a CFP® professional and former Texas A&M quarterback. Joel Oelze wrote and directed both, leaning into wit and a healthy dose of excess. In The Rookie Card, a garage sale find turns into a windfall and, with Stephen’s help, a business of its own. In Part of the Family, the advisor shows up for everything: the new baby’s crib, the Saturday soccer game, the family dinner. Both play the same idea for laughs.
